“AFTER ALL”
AFTER
ALL JANUARY 2012 OVERVIEW
We had a great
time at Barberies', our new place in Danbury since December. We know it’s a trek to get there for most of
you but as there is no snow to impede your driving…YET!...so, come on down! The food is really good and the crowd
is even better!! We always look forward to seeing Jim & Jackie, Marie & Jack and Mike & Sue! (Thoughts
& prayers go out to Bruce (of Bruce & Peggy)...who would have never missed a good time. We're hoping you're
feeling better dear Bruce...and we miss you Peggy, you dancing machine you!!)
We tried The Hawthorne again and
wonder whether we are still a good fit there. Everything is so different that we didn't feel ‘at home’
like we used to. Feeling the need to audition for a place you were for years is not what we call a good time.
BUT… although it was snowy and only had two days notice, still had 19 people come to join us and for that, we are truly
grateful! Thanks to Carol & Jack, Judy, Bill and company, Rita, Guy and company (We love saying ‘and company’!!,
who know why!), Sara and her best buds Adam, and the rest of the crew, Karen & Doug and Diane! Thank
you, thank you, and thank you!
We are slowly building a following at Gusto’s and it brings back memories
of when we first started and had to do that in a new room. Well…luckily it still works! Thanks to Mike
& Lois, Barry & Patty (what a wonderful surprise!!), Dan & wife and all of the others (ladies rule!!) who make
us smile there! There were some others that had been there on NYE, so they again had to move tables for dancing…yay,
and we want to thank them for being there also!
Thanks to all of you who had us for your parties and per usual
thank you to all of the venues that Nan sings on her own…keep ‘em coming!
