Happy Independence Day!  We know it means much more than picnics and fireworks!

The Summer heat is settling in so we hope you are contemplating different ways to STAY COOL........a dip in the pool/if you have one!......a trip to the beach........or maybe coming to see us while enjoying some dancing in a nice air conditioned restaurant!  We think the third choice is best!  Nan brings her BIG fan plus two hand-held fans to the gigs now....doesn't want to take any chances! :)

We are playing some new venues this month and we would love for you to come   surprise us!

Please have a happy, healthy and cooooool month!......and if you're going on vacation, please take us with you!  We'll buy the big suitcases!

Nick & Nancy

"AFTER ALL"

JUNE OVERVIEW

It was a very busy month!  We enjoyed playing an "Escapades Singles" event at the home of one of the members, in Greenwich.  It was a beautiful day into evening affair and the weather was perfect!  There was a pool area complete with waterfall which was certainly conducive to the socializing and lovely buffet meal!  We also got another gig from it!

We had a weekend at The Inn at Ethan Allen in Danbury with our wonderful tables #7 & #13, who always have a good time, which makes US always have a good time!  Thanks guys!.("SWEET CAROLINE......"!!).  There was also the overflow from a wedding and the "kids"(anyone younger than us!) had a good time!

Nick did his "DJ" thing at a graduation party....which just happened to be the first REALLY HOT day of the year.  He didn't make delicate(!)little Nancy go with him....whew.....she caught a break on that one!

The SONO Boat Club job landed on an evening that couldn't have been nicer.....the stars were out....the bugs were few....and Patty, one of "The Stamford Crew surprised Nan with a birthday cake!  N. received many birthday cards, some of which held some lottery scratch off tickets!  She won enough to buy a train ticket to NYC to see a baseball game!   Thanks so much to Patty, Jeanne, Ernie, Ronnie, Sal and Roberta!  Also nice to see Annie & Carol....!  It was such a great night!

We don't play at too many campgrounds these days,, but had the pleasure of playing The Lone Oak Campground in E. Canaan.  They even had an air conditioned lounge.....you don't see that too often!  Thanks to Lori for the gig!

Nan did a solo hour (which turned into a duo hour as Nick joined in!) at The Village at South Farms in Middletown and it was a complete success.  Her aunt who is a resident there was very proud and said...."I never knew you could sing that good!"  :)  Awwwwwww!

This year we were asked to play the "Passing of the gavel" again for the Danbury Rotary Club at The Ridgewood Country Club.  Thanks again(and again) Jim & Jackie~!

One of the other highlights of the month was Nan's birthday celebration at The Hawthorne Inn on the 21st, which is also the first day of Summer and the longest day of the year!  The thing is...Nan didn't know there was going to be a celebration!  Nick surprised Nan with a beautiful cake and everyone sang happy birthday.....YAY!  Sometimes it's tough having to work on all of the holidays including your B-day, BUT the positive side is.....you get to celebrate the entire month with a whole bunch of wonderful people!

Many were there for support, including Bing & Claire &  Fred &Terry, who normally come to The Water's Edge, so it was nice to see them all the way up here!

There were so many couples there whose wedding we have performed for.....Janet & Jesse, Bill & Linda, Joan & Jim(who still have the award for "Who Came to See "AFTER ALL"  The Most Places"!), Nancy & Evan, Miriam & Irv and Sue & Al.  There was also Doug & Karen, whose wedding is coming up!

We also made new friends Jim & Ellen, whose reception we will be doing in a few months!  Even Nan's friend Joan from high school was there....!  Always SO happy to have Nicks wonderful Dad there, plus his Brother John & wife Diane..and even Traci( a little sweetie-pie that Nick works with) was there with friends.  Thanks to all of you who were there and for the thoughtful gifts/cards....it meant so much!

We had the distinct pleasure of playing for Walter Schalk's(has dance studios in Fairfield county) birthday party at his home/studio in Wilton.  He has an autographed picture of The Chairman of the Board....Ol' Blue Eyes....need I say more!?   There were threats of T-Storms, so we set up inside at the bottom of a winding staircase.  They also had a wonderful buffet dinner...which we all know is a very important factor for Nan when booking a gig!  ("Are we getting fed...OK.....take the job!!!)  Nan started the day by played five card stud with triplets....looong story!

The last weekend is almost always at The Water's Edge, with this June being no exception!  Tony & June were there on Friday night, and on Saturday, Joan & Ed, (long time no see!!)Joan & Jim, Fred & Terry, Rita & Guy(whose wedding we did also!)...along with Rita's Sister and Husband)  and Bing & Claire were there to cheer us on.  We missed Shirley & Tom.......! (Feel better Tom!).

A very Happy Birthday this month to Jim G.("Man....I Feel Like a....) and Shirley C.(alias SIS!).

Our heartfelt condolences go out to our good friends Joe & Carol, on the passing of Joe's son, Joe.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We miss those of you we didn't see in June(I hope you know who you are!), and hope to see you in July~

2008 is booking up quickly...if you are planning a party and would like us to be there for you, please let us know as soon as possible.  We don't want to be booked elsewhere when we'd rather be with YOU!

Please check out Nan's web site on at www.voice123.com/nancytrecina

She has it set up for (commercial voiceover/vocal jobs.  Thanks to our good pal Gary for helping Nan in his studio!   Check out HIS site at www.SpectrumSoundStudios.com

Nan has done her third voice-over.  It was twenty 30-second spots for a Christian Radio Station in the Midwest.    It was very interesting and not as easy as one would think!  If you're ever in Dodge City, turn the radio to KJIL!  She has also started singing at assisted living homes, which is a thoroughly enjoyable thing to do.  The music is appreciated and a good time is had by all!   If anyone knows of one that needs entertainment, please let us know! Need a great photographer? Check out Bruce’s www.allseeinglens.com . He takes all the wonderful pictures at the Shriner’s Events and took some great shots of After All too..almost made us look good too!!

Please call our band phone and leave a message with any questions or bookings at (860) 205-9212.  You may call our 24-hour toll-free voicemail schedule at (860) 231-2204 to find out where we are monthly and leave a message at end of schedule if you'd prefer.

If you're planning an event, whether it be a Birthday, Anniversary, Wedding or just a party for the fun of it, please think of us for your entertainment needs. Remember that we are also available as a trio or quartet if given enough notice.

If there is a special song you would like us to learn for you, email us and we'll see what we can do!

Thanks to those of you who have purchased our new CD.

**We'll always do our best to let you know if there is a change in schedule.**
