"AFTER ALL"
NOVEMBER OVERVIEW
It was an interesting month
for us as we had varied venues! (now try saying varied venues five times fast!).
We had our evenings at The Water's Edge(three this month) which are always different, as you never know
what will happen next...good or bad! Seeing friends there always makes us feel good...thanks to Shirley(SIS!)
& Tom and Pat & Tom(great dancers!) plus many others for being there. Also someone we know
who will be at one of the parties this month!
We did our annual Rotary Raffle in Danbury, which we enjoyed even more this time. There
was a different crowd and MANY more dancers! Funnily enough, we also played a post wedding party this month
for someone who saw us LAST year at The Rotary event! We love how everything is connected somehow! Thanks
again Jimbo!
We
had our weekend at The Hawthorne which we always look forward to. Both Friday and Saturday were good and
the hours are much earlier now which makes it easier for people to come out without having to turn into a pumpkin at end of
night! So great to see Rita and Guy, Sue & Al, and Bill & Les! Wish we had more
time to talk to you! Also Linda and Bill and the crew(who Nan went out to breakfast with..FUN!...don't
get to do THAT too often!), and Bill and his lovely wife Ann(with her perfect corsage on every time!).
We also had our annual Shriner's
Ladies Night at The Shuttle Meadow Country Club, and some of them came to The Hawthorne! Thanks so
much to Paul, Lila, Rick and Joy(and Amanda!) for visiting us there!
We've been getting a bit wordy on this overview so we've tried to cut it down a bit....so if your
name isn't mentioned please don't be offended! Also....we can't remember everyone that was
there so.....not only should we start writing down the requests, we should write down everyone who's there!
OH BOY...this isn't good! Nan will start walking around with a notepad and a pencil stuck in
her hair! Or...maybe Nick should do it...he'd make a cute waiter...."HELLO...I'm Nick and
I'll be your singer tonight!" HAHA!
We also had an "Escapades Single's"event..and it was half price!(but there was no food unless
you ordered off the menu') ''we were starving at end of night...well...at least Nan was!) We
saw our good pal from the Stamford crew(ERN!!) and he and everyone seemed to have a good ole' time! We
went for four hours straight without a break...we are NUTS! I think we were so afraid our voices wouldn't
hold out after the weekend at The Water's Edge that we just kept going and waited to collapse when we got home!
Also, we always want to keep people on the dance floor...but we got a bit carried away!
Come out to play this month...we are at a couple of clubs.....hope to see you there! If
not...WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!
